Hand Paintings!

 Last weekend, I went outside and painted the backgrounds that matched the favorite colors of each of our boys. Then we made our "Daddy & Me" paintings. The boys LOVED it! At first they were a little reluctant about the feeling of the paint on their hands, but once they figured out that they got to smoosh it on the canvas and stamp their hands they were very excited! Then we made a hand-print painting of all of our hands left over from the residual paint on their hands. We also made a family tree painting from and idea I saw on pinterest. A fun day of painting!

It's been a while...

I have not posted on my blog in quite some time since I have written on my blog. With a move, new job, and new baby there hasn't been much extra time. However, I want to start it up again. I am now a working mother of three boys, three and under! Once I have a new camera, or find our camera that was hidden by my son, I can post pictures of my newest sewing creations and my "motherly wisdom".
