This is a little delayed, but I wanted to share an idea I got from the Family Fun Magazine. For our Thanksgiving this year, I made these snacks with all of my nieces and nephews to hold them over while they waited for the meal. We altered our ingredients a little from the magazine's suggestions to accommodate what we had available. The kids really enjoyed making them which took up some time while the meal was cooking!
Here's what ingredients you need:
- Pear (for body)
- Apple slices (for feathers)
- Tangerine slices (for feathers)
- Raisins (for feet)
- Cashews cut in half (for beak)
- Sunflower seeds (for eyes)
